About

LE PONANT

LE PONANT is a genuinely unique sailing yacht, recently benefiting from a complete rebuild, with entirely new interior spaces and exterior decks designed to elevate both comfort and exploration. Her redesigned layout now features 16 large, luxurious guest suites for up to 32 guests — well beyond the 12-guest limit that applies to most charter yachts — making her ideal for extended families, private groups, or milestone journeys.

A genuine sailing yacht at heart, SFNC charter yacht LE PONANT offers an exceptional experience under sail. Thanks to her advanced rigging system—featuring giant hydraulic rams for sail trimming—she sails smoothly and quietly, allowing guests to enjoy expansive deck spaces free from running rigging. The captain and crew actively prioritize sailing over motoring whenever conditions permit, delivering an authentic and immersive sailing experience rarely found on yachts of this size.

Life on board is defined by refined comfort and exceptional service. Cuisine is a central part of the experience, led by a French Executive Chef supported by a dedicated galley team, delivering restaurant-level dining throughout the voyage. Guests benefit from a highly specialized crew that includes not only professional sailors and hospitality staff, but also an Expedition Leader and expert Naturalist, ensuring deep engagement with the environments visited. A Beautician and Sports Coach further enhance onboard wellbeing.

Designed for real exploration, LE PONANT is equipped with four expedition-style Zodiac tenders, enabling guests to access remote coastlines, wild anchorages, and untouched natural landscapes that are inaccessible to conventional yachts. Whether navigating dramatic coastlines, discovering pristine reefs, or exploring wilderness regions above and below the waterline, every itinerary is crafted to deliver once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

With an exceptional crew of 34 professionals, inclusive charter pricing (covering food, beverages, fuel, port fees, agents’ fees, and taxes), and a deep heritage embodied by her long-standing captain, LE PONANT offers extraordinary value for a yacht of this caliber. She is not simply a charter yacht, but a floating expedition platform delivering luxury, discovery, and meaningful connection to the world’s last great frontiers.

If you have any questions—whether it’s about destinations, activities, yacht features or anything else—don’t hesitate to ask. We're here to ensure this is the most unforgettable experience you've ever had.
