Based in Sydney, Lance is available for charter along Australia’s east coast, with the flexibility to cruise iconic destinations including the Whitsundays, offering a perfect mix of cosmopolitan harbours, pristine islands, and world-class natural scenery.

Australia - East Coast & Great Barrier Reef

There are a few harbours in the world that naturally offer a myriad of safe, secluded anchorages. Even less, which are on the doorstep of one of the world’s most admired cities – Sydney. Just a gentle cruise from the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House, you can find yourself in a bay in full Australian sunshine in crystal clear waters.
Sydney offers extensive cruising from metropolitan feels to remote national parks, all within 4 hours of steaming! Although called HARBOUR, this can seem misleading in terms of how much there is to do in and around Sydney: it indeed spans 240km (149 miles) of shoreline and 55 km² in total. The Shoreline between St Tropez and Monaco represents approximately 100km (62 miles)!

WINTER in Australia = May to September = best time for yachts to cruise QLD Northeast Coast & The Great Barrier Reef, Northwest Coast & The Kimberley & South Pacific Islands.

SUMMER in Australia = October to April = best time for yachts to cruise the Whitsundays, the Southern Great Barrier Reef, Southern QLD, Sydney, and Tasmania.

Note: Dive Instructors are hired for all diving charters, to ensure the high standard of service on board. Crew are not certified to take guests diving but are passionate divers themselves!
Depending on the charter party, third-party contractors such as dive / local guides, would need to sleep ashore, in a guest cabin, or onboard a separately chartered chaseboat.

Crew quarters do NOT have spare berths.

Water toys and tenders can often be customised or supplemented upon request. Should water activities be a key part of your charter experience, our brokers will be happy to suggest alternative yachts offering a more extensive or specialised toy selection.
