BLEU DE NÎMES is an extraordinary 72-metre explorer yacht with a remarkable history and unparalleled long-range cruising capability. Originally built as a British Royal Navy degaussing vessel, she has been transformed through two extensive rebuilds into one of the most impressive and spacious private expedition yachts available for charter today.

Her first major conversion took place in 2000 in Turkey under the direct supervision of her experienced owner and was classified by Lloyd’s as a new construction. During this phase, yacht designer Peter Birkett retained only the original steel hull, while an entirely new superstructure was created to meet superyacht standards. A second, even more ambitious rebuild followed in Italy between 2016 and 2020, overseen by Studio Nattero. During this period, BLEU DE NÎMES was lengthened by 16 metres, incorporating four additional guest cabins, two tender garages, a central staircase, and a full superyacht elevator, elevating her to true ultra-luxury explorer status.

Today, BLEU DE NÎMES accommodates up to 28 guests in 13 exceptionally generous staterooms. The accommodation includes a spectacular full-beam Owner’s suite with private study, separate his-and-hers dressing rooms, and ensuite bathrooms, alongside two VIP cabins, six double cabins, two triple cabins, and two twin cabins, each with an additional Pullman berth. The yacht also features dedicated staff cabins and accommodation for a highly professional crew of 23, ensuring impeccable service throughout extended voyages.
