Yacht Axioma Returns to the Charter Market After Multi-Million-Euro Refit

The iconic 72.5-meter motor yacht Axioma has triumphantly returned to the charter market following a meticulous, multi-million-euro refit. Initially launched by Dunya Yachts in 2013, Axioma boasts an exterior by Sterling Scott and an interior designed by the late Alberto Pinto, blending high-end luxury with a relaxed, beach-house ambiance.

Legal Journey and Auction Transition

In 2022, Axioma captured attention when she was seized due to a loan dispute, leading to her sale at auction for $37.5 million. Now under the ownership of a Turkish buyer, Axioma has undergone a comprehensive restoration, preparing her to lead the luxury yacht charter market again.

State-of-the-Art Refit at MB92 La Ciotat, France

The refit, completed at MB92 in La Ciotat, France, addressed critical mechanical and aesthetic updates. Her main engines, stabilizers, hydraulics, and tanks were upgraded for peak performance and safety. Axioma also received striking turquoise paint on her hull and superstructure, adding a fresh, bold look: new teak decking and a state-of-the-art galley combined functionality with visual appeal.

Preserved Alberto Pinto Interiors with a Modern, Beachy Aesthetic

The yacht’s Alberto Pinto-designed interiors remain faithful to the original vision, showcasing light woods, natural fabrics, and bold accents that create a sophisticated, summery atmosphere. Entertainment spaces include a mezzanine-style main salon, a formal dining area, a private 3D cinema, a fully equipped gym, a massage room, and a steam room. Outside, guests can relax on decks featuring a Jacuzzi and a swim-up bar, providing ample space for unwinding.

Axioma Returns to the Mediterranean, with a Potential Appearance at the MYBA Yacht Show 2025

Managed by Northrop & Johnson, Axioma is prepared to deliver an exceptional charter experience, seamlessly blending high performance with refined luxury. After her successful showcase at the 2023 Antigua Yacht Show, Axioma will begin her Mediterranean yacht charter season in the Summer of 2025. Axioma will be available for the South of France event season, including the Monaco F1 GP. Looking ahead, Axioma is also considering attendance at the prestigious MYBA Yacht Show in Sanremo, scheduled for April 28 to May 1, 2025, to introduce herself to a broader Mediterranean charter audience.
