Grande 36M, the latest addition to Azimut, was launched in Viareggio and was presented to the public at the last Cannes Yachting Festival.
In truth, at the French event, Azimut unveiled two new models simultaneously, the Grande 26M and the Grande 36M. Both yachts are characterized by an innovative design conceived to offer barrier-free spaces that guarantee more significant contact with nature.
Every aspect has been studied to improve the owner’s experience and his guests, which is why Azimut has thought of configurable and customizable layout solutions for the owner.

Azimut 36M – Innovative and open-space design
Thanks to an avant-garde interior design entrusted to the designer Achille Salvagni, and an attractive exterior style by Alberto Mancini, Azimut Grande 36M revolutionizes the living space concept.
Like any other model in the Grande line, the Grande 36M is also characterized by innovative choices that create open environments. Each space is based on the human dimension and blends with the surrounding environment, offering a unique feeling of freedom.
The main novelty of the Grande 36M is the upper deck concept, conceived as
a semi-walkaround; it runs on the same level from the stern almost to the tip of the bow. A real leap forward compared to the traditional layouts of this size yachts that allowed the creation of an environment that was previously non-existent or not exploitable.
In addition, the sky lounge opening windows, once opened, disappear completely from view, transforming the upper deck into an immense space overlooking its surroundings.
As we said, the owner will finally be able to choose how to set up the yacht’s environments according to his personal taste, choosing spaces layout, like opting for a more traditional or captivating layout, with informal indoor and outdoor dining areas.

An environmentally friendly yacht, the new Azimut Grande 36M
The new Grande 36M superyachts is part of Azimut’s Low Emission Yachts range, thanks to the synergy between the highly efficient D2P (Displacement-to-Planing) hull, designed by P.L. AUSONIO Naval Architecture in collaboration with the shipyard’s research and development office, and the extensive use of carbon fiber to lighten the superstructure weight.
These design innovations introduced by Azimut make it possible to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by 15 to 30% both at slow and high cruising speeds, compared with same weight and size’ boats equipped with traditional chine hulls.

Grande 36M technical features
The Grande 36M yacht boasts a maximum length measured over 35 meters with a full beam of 7.5 meters. When fully loaded, the boat has a draft of just under 2 meters (1.97) and a displacement that reaches 180 tons.
The guest’s accommodations are in 5 staterooms, with ten beds equally divided. To them, another six beds for on-board personnel must be added. Each cabin has a private bathroom.
Grande 36M is powered by two MTU 2200 horsepower and two MTU 2400 horsepower engines. She sails at a comfortable cruising speed of 18 knots while she can reach a maximum speed of 24 knots.
