The Best Superyachts spotted in St Barts

Superyachts in St. Barts: A stylish holiday on the small “Cote d’Azur” of the Caribbean

The island of Saint Barthélemy, formally French overseas territory, embodies the grace and classic charm of the famous resorts of the Côte d’Azur overlooking the Mediterranean sea. What is more, it is also a wonderful tropical paradise kissed by the sun and bathed by shining waters that crash on white-sand beaches.

Such a context is obviously coupled with an increasing number of superyachts that increasingly choose this island as their destination, at any time of the year.

A tourist context of the highest level

The strong French influences have created a cosmopolitan Mediterranean atmosphere visible above all in the splendid city of Gustavia, the main center on the island.

Gustavia is the heart of St Barts and is lined with designer boutiques, trendy restaurants and clubs, and luxurious homes reminiscent of old Europe.

However, this does not mean that life is quiet and boring. There is no shortage of fun in Gustavia, especially the nightlife around the port, with the most exclusive parties organized around or on the yachts and superyachts anchored at the dock or in the bay. No matter how much you want to party, clubs in the area know how to entertain you until the first light of dawn.

What makes St. Barts a hotspot for megayachts in the Caribbean?

As mentioned earlier, the luxury and the good life enjoyed in St. Barts is already in itself a much more than concrete reason to sail here. In addition, the nature all around the island offers crazy scenarios.

For those who love diving, there are infinite diving spots between coral reefs and all types of seabed. St Barts is also the perfect place for water sports or for exploring the other Leeward Islands such as nearby St. Martin, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Kitts, and Nevis Island.

If, on the other hand, you want to feel a bit like Robinson Crusoe, St Barts is surrounded by small semi-desert islets where you can feel far from everything and everyone, located a few nautical miles from your base.

Excellent facilities for boaters

The port of Gustavia is a premier nautical destination for supplies, services, and facilities and is capable of accommodating up to 60 yachts up to 200 feet in length in the inner harbor and another 100 vessels in the outer waters.

Also, thanks to this excellent infrastructure St Barts has become one of the most exclusive destinations for a luxury yacht charter in the world, attracting more and more superyachts along its magnificent coasts every year.
