Powered by efficient engines, STARFIRE maintains a cruising speed of 12 knots, with a top speed of 15 knots.

Despite her grandeur, she achieves an efficient fuel consumption of 64 gallons per hour (243 liters), enabling long-distance cruising without frequent refueling. Her fuel capacity of 37,000 gallons (140,000 liters) enables extensive voyages across the Bahamas, from the Exumas to Nassau, with minimal downtime.

Charter Rates for 2025

High Season Rate: $288,000 per week (+ expenses)
Low Season Rate: $248,000 per week (+ expenses)

High-season rates apply during major holidays, including New Year’s, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

For shorter charters:

Minimum booking: 3 days
Pro-rated at the weekly rate divided by 6

A 35% Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA) is standard, and a security deposit may be required for corporate charters.

Tax Information & Hurricane Season Policies

Bahamas VAT & Local Taxes: Per the latest regulations, all Bahamas bookings contracted after July 1, 2022, are subject to a 14% VAT (up from 4%).
Hurricane Season: June–November charters require a Hurricane Addendum to ensure all parties are prepared for potential disruptions.
