However, glamorous parties and yacht clubs are not the only reasons for attracting stars, music or entertainment personalities, or, again, exponents of the international jet-set here.

None of them, as well as any lesser-known tourist, resist the temptation to spend at least a few hours during their vacation strolling through the famous and characteristic streets of the Porto Cervo Center, an authentic luxury shopping paradise!

The history of Porto Cervo’s boutiques and shopping streets goes hand in hand with the creation of the old village, a maze of squares, alleys, arches, and gardens that, with its charm, is able to conquer the heart of every visitor.

A combination of natural beauty and high fashion

The town has developed around a central square, designed in the sixties, offering a priceless view of the sea and the bay. The newly created agora originally had to be free from commercial activities to make that experience unforgettable in front of the true protagonist of Porto Cervo: the luxuriant nature that surrounds it. In the part below the square, instead, the luxury shops were planned, and so also the walk behind it has become a place of worship for fans of the big names in fashion.

The famous and mythical Piazza delle Chiacchiere in Porto Cervo hosts boutiques and jewelers of the most prestigious brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Ferrè, Loris Abate, Kristina T., Armani, Gucci, Fendi, as well as numerous and refined local craft shops.

Not to be forgotten are the equally famous shops of the so-called “Sottopiazza,” another meeting point for residents and tourists.

From the square, you can easily walk a long and elegant distance to the fashionable and commercial center of the town, with its numerous boutiques that welcome the most popular brands, such as Loro Piana, Prada, Cavalli, Magli, and Rossetti.

What are the main shopping streets in Porto Cervo?

The village and its promenade, the Promenade du Port, the Piazza del Principe, the Marina di Porto Cervo, and the Waterfront are basically five so-called “shopping streets,” each with its own peculiarities and characteristics.

The visit to the village usually begins in the main square while admiring the majesty of the fascinating yachts moored on the pier. In a sort of labyrinth of shops, between one shop window and another, you continue to the Sottopiazza, where there are other boutiques.

The second stage is the Promenade du Port, which can be reached via a wooden bridge in the direction of the old port. Here, you will find a real shopping district where fashion, art, design, music, and food combine magically.

The real highlight of Porto Certo, however, is the recently inaugurated Waterfront on the port quay. A sea-view lounge with high-level brands, where prestigious musical and cultural events often occur.
