Welcoming the New Year with New Year’s Sailing Regatta!
New Year is itself a peak merrymaking season in this part of the world. To revel in this joyous spirit of the New Year, Bahamians host a sailing regatta where dozens of boats ranging from 16 to 28 feet set sail from ports of Nassau and Paradise Island. Engaged in a race for bagging the highest honor, trophy, and prize money, they converge off at the Montagu Bay.
