Where is Salerno located?

This city is located about an hour’s drive from Naples. The international airport of Naples-Capodichino is the most convenient airport to reach Salerno, which is also about an hour away by road. Alternatively, it is possible to reach it via its railway station served by high-speed trains departing from the main cities of central-northern Italy.

What is the best period for a boat trip?

The summer season is certainly the best time to plan a boat trip in these areas. From May to September temperatures of both the sea and the air are very pleasant and also windy. The months of July and August are by far those with the greatest influx of tourists and therefore also the periods of greatest crowding of beaches, streets, and museums.

The “Masuccio Salernitano” port is located in the Salerno city center, immediately under the large Concordia square. In the marina, there are about 450 berths, which must be added to the sea area between the breakwaters and the promenade where a further hundred small boats can be placed.
