Why the Yacht Aura Horizon 90 fits perfectly for New Year’s Eve

Prime timing & location. AURA ends its charter on December 28 in Hamilton Island. That means from December 29 onward, the yacht is open for booking — just in time for a New Year’s Eve celebration. With the yacht already in the Whitsundays, logistics are simple: board near Hamilton Island and cruise immediately into crystal‑clear waters and scenic islands.

Ideal charter season. In Australia, summer (October–April) brings warm, pleasant weather — making the Whitsundays and surrounding Great Barrier Reef areas perfect for yacht cruising. That means for a New Year’s Eve charter, you’re likely to enjoy sunny skies, calm seas, and balmy nights under the stars.

Luxury & comfort, modern design. AURA is a 2023-built 90′ superyacht from Horizon Yachts — offering the perfect combination of contemporary style and comfort. The large saloon windows flood the interior with natural light, while open-plan decks and multiple lounging areas give you room to relax or party.

Imagine waking on December 31 to gentle waves lapping at the hull, stepping onto decks bathed in soft morning light, and sipping coffee as islands drift past. That’s just the beginning. Aboard AURA:

Spacious & elegant interiors: The on-deck Master suite and four guest staterooms (all with en‑suite bathrooms) offer privacy and comfort for your group — ideal for couples or friends traveling together.
Versatile entertainment spaces: With multiple levels designed for relaxation and celebration, the yacht features a generous beach club complete with an outdoor shower, a large swim platform for quick dips into warm waters, and a forward seating area (with optional shade) — perfect for sundowners or a midnight toast.
Smooth cruising through island archipelagos: Whether you choose to explore the Whitsunday Islands, drift along the Southern Great Barrier Reef, or anchor near quiet coves, AURA gives you the flexibility to craft the perfect itinerary depending on weather, tide, and your mood.

Charter Details & Booking – Act Soon

Because AURA becomes available only after December 28, and New Year’s Eve demand can be high, early reservations are essential. Charter season in the Whitsundays runs until January 2026 — offering flexibility if you want to extend your trip beyond New Year’s — but the sooner you enquire, the greater your chances of locking in those prime dates.

All enquiries are welcome. The yacht’s schedule for 2025 is as follows:

January–March: Gold Coast
April 2025–January 2026: The Whitsundays

So your window to charter for a New Year’s Eve escape lies between the charter finish at Hamilton Island and the end of December — a rare opening on a truly special yacht.
